The tech space is vibrating because of the clash between the Titans, yep! Apple Vs Samsung it is. Apple has won the suit it filed against Samsung for patent rights infringement in the US, Kudos. But, Apple has lost the similar case in Japan! lets put it another way, Samsung has won the same case in Japan!
Fine, but there is another interesting news buzzing the space, The launch of Samsung's ATIV S, a smart phone based on Windows 8 platform. Surprising or shocking everyone, Samsung unveiled its phone in Berlin's Electronic show before the Nokia's, whose launch is due this September.
This is a brilliant example of foresight demonstrated by the company. They did not act overconfident about the lawsuit and started working at the same time at the next best platform, windows 8. So, now though it has lost the right to sell those Android based phones in the US, it can still contest with its new offering.
A brilliantly timed move, the panache with which Samsung has been launching its recent products would help the company garner a similar anticipation among the consumers for its upcoming Windows 8 phone also, perhaps more than the Nokia's.

ReplyDeleteApple has now filed a lawsuit against the new and the top notch products of Samsung. It now wants to ban the distribution of The SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wifi, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, the Samsung Rugby Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. I feel that with only 1 new launch, APPLE is loosing the techwar to SAMSUNG even in the niche segment.
